Lethia Bernard
Lethia initiates and leads research that supports women’s health and empowerment at PAI. Specifically, she spearheads policy research at the intersection of universal health coverage, health systems, and financing and women’s access to sexual and reproductive health services, care, and information. Prior to this post, she led original qualitative research on universal health coverage and access to medicines policy in Santiago, Chile. She has over four years of experience working on global health systems strengthening, HIV/AIDS, and access to medicines programs, policy and research. Lethia earned a Master of Science in Global Health with a focus in health policy and financing from Georgetown University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Ithaca College.
